Ferriby is now a village with shops, houses, roads, a school and two churches, over three thousand people live here. The people live in houses with bedrooms, kitchens, sitting rooms and bathrooms. Some houses have only one person living in them others have four, some may even have six people. A lot of the families in Ferriby have cars and they travel all over the place in them, quite often they will use them to get shopping from supermarkets in other villages or towns.
